The hall is the first area of your home any guests will see, and it’s the first room you walk into after a hard day at work. So creating that all important great first impression is a priority, and it’s well worth giving the hallway the same attention as any other room. Great contemporary lighting will create a wonderfully, welcoming atmosphere.
On bright, sunny days, glazed doors can be enough to fill the hall space with natural light, but when it’s dull or as the evenings draw in you need to consider where and how to place lamps and lights in order to add warmth.
